Men earn more than women. That much is clear, despite the end of wage discrimination. But as this article summarises, the gap is less when hours worked are flexible. So a way to tackle the wage gap is to move away from the 9 to 5, making ALL hours equally valuable and not disproportionately rewarding those willing (or more likely, able) to work longer hours.
