Luke Perry stars in the Beat Beneath My Feet as washed up rock star, Max Stone, found living under false pretences in a south London council flat. Known primarily for his starring role in the 1990s teen TV series Beverly Hills 90210, Perry launches back into American teen drama with the new series Riverdale based on the popular characters of Archie Comics, which is set to premiere on US TV in early 2017 and is already garnering comparisons to the iconic Twin Peaks.

Starring with Luke Perry, actor Nicholas Galitzine was snapped up for The Beat Beneath My Feet to play schoolboy loner, Tom, on his first ever film audition in 2013. Since then he’s gone on to star in the films High Strung, Handsome Devil, which premiered to rave reviews at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, and is currently filming alongside Timothy Spall in The Changeover. In 2015 he was recognised as a Screen International Star Of Tomorrow, joining a star studded alumni that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne,  Carey Mulligan and John Boyega. Galitzine is just one of the many up and coming talents identified and nurtured by Scoop Films in an ongoing #risingtalent programme that includes actresses Alice Sykes and Eunice Olumide, directors Edd Chickwell and Christiana Ebohon and writer Troy Hunter.

The Beat Beneath My Feet hits selected US screens and online from October 21st 2016.
